GARDEN COLLECTIVE: Mar. Sat. 21 + Sun. 22

This is Niall from Garden Collective, I met you a few times at our events in the past and loved the ideas and projects you brought with you. Garden has our first festival on the horizon (March 21-22nd). I am running the art/installations side of things and I would love to reach out to you and the CHOCA family about some possible collaborations for the festival.

There is a few different ideas I have that I think could be interesting for you to facilitate over the course of the weekend and open to any idea ye may have.

The main thing I was thinking was a sort of sketching/drawing group who sketch different artists, people, moments, details of the festival and the space over the course of the festival. Maybe it works by having one main facilitator who has the materials (Garden will pay for) and invites people to join in.

The idea would then be to hang these sketches up on a 'clothes line' installation we are creating at the festival. The line will grow over the weekend including peoples sketches, musings, words etc. It will capture the spirit of the weekend on completion.

Let me know what you think about this. We can meet in person to share more idea and go from there.

Até Já,
Niall

Ports have played an integral part of civilisations throughout the ages as the gateway through which people, goods, ideas, craic and culture move.

No less relevent today, Port to Port Festival brings together artists, musicians and generally good folk from Portugal and Ireland — two seafaring nations that have been closely linked for centuries.

Over the course of two days Port to Port will present the latest up-and-coming talent from Ireland, Portugal and beyond with an array of genres from Folk to Experimental Electronic, ear tingling to body grooving, the weird and wonderful to the absolutely everything in between.
