CHOCA organises art activities in / near Lisbon = CHOCA Out + in its centre in Lisbon = 'CHOCA House'

 

CHOCA organize activities in hospitals, centres for senior citizens, schools, festivals, community places etc.  more info > CHOCA Out   CHOCA House: the base of CHOCA is a residential apartment in Lisbon. The activities + communal meals happen in the main room. Ideally the classes / sessions have between 4 - 8 participants.  ARTISTS Neworking   /  DRAWING  /   PAINTING Club  /  ART COORDIN8ORS' Networking  /  CRE8IVE WRITING  / STORYTELLING   /  MUSIC Club


How CHOCA Arts Functions...

CHOCA have a team and the decisions are voted for based on the idea of providing arts activities for every1. It is as money free as poss. Certain functions ( eg arts coordinators, admin staff ) either work voluntary, keep donations or work for a small wage. Any bigger profit goes back into running expenses ( eg buying arts equipment, food etc ) One of the objectives is to have arts happening without thinking about money.
